What you fail to change, you actively choose. Considering the profound impact of historical traumas on those affected, discussions and actions related to these subjects must be approached with the utmost empathy and respect. Thoughtlessly repeating harmful rhetoric is not only unacceptable, it is also deeply hurtful to those still grappling with the consequences of these events.

Those who resonate with such actions, who disregard moral guidance and responsibilities, and who seek to revive decay and disregard virtue, are simply uninformed and incapable of understanding morality. Regression must never be allowed to thrive. Hatred offers no solution and only undermines the vital collaboration needed for a shared, peaceful existence.

The prevalence of hate, selfishness, and intentional vilification should concern all of us. Many individuals are complicit in perpetuating such harmful behaviors, which degrade our society. We cannot tolerate beliefs and actions that promote inequality, exclusion, intolerance, and contempt—they have no place in our collective future.

When the foundation of your core lacks integrity and guidance, you become vulnerable to external manipulation and distractions, leading to unpredictable consequences. When morals are sacrificed for personal gain, it fosters a desire to challenge the status quo and disrespect the values of those who stand firm in their principles. My design does not accommodate manipulation or the notion that I should simply follow others!

Interestingly, individuals often find it more preferable to devalue others’ worth rather than contributing to their growth and happiness. They would rather undermine others’ empowerment than support their pursuit of inclusivity and self-worth.

It’s equally perplexing and counterintuitive that these individuals empower themselves by shaping the institutions and systems that foster everyone else’s success, growth, and prosperity, while persistently convincing marginalized groups of their unworthiness of equal treatment.

It seems that others are penalized for their ingenuity and the pursuit of acceptance, as well as the fundamental principles of respect and dignity, which should be universally applicable.

Proponents of supremacy often display reluctance in acknowledging that their claimed superiority is not substantiated by facts but rather perpetuated through systemic oppression, racism, and suppression made possible by the power of constructed systems designed to obstruct marginalized people, groups, and communities from benefiting from them.

They are compelled to cling to their power by generating obstruction and obstacles, continuing to deteriorate the integrity of the systems responsible for balancing power and wealth, thereby restricting access to those groups, communities, and people working towards parity.

Although historically oppressed groups have succeeded in overcoming systemic barriers and institutionalized biases, those who previously held power through supremacist ideologies are now attempting to reverse the progress and undermine the achievements, having largely maintained their existing perspectives. It is only a matter of time before their efforts and dominance lose all meaning.

Path Forward

To move forward, we must dismantle systems of oppression, demand inclusivity and equality, and empower those who have been historically marginalized. Progress comes through transforming power structures, advocating for policies that ensure equal access to opportunities, and reimagining success and community through a lens of collective growth and justice.

Inevitably, we reach a point where reversing our trajectory is no longer a viable option. We invest substantial time and effort into pursuits we perceive as meaningful, basing our commitments on assurances and expectations—many of which are intangible. Our faith in careers, relationships, institutions, and societal structures stems from the conviction that they will remain accessible and reliable when needed.

Yet, as time progresses, it becomes increasingly evident that detours are an inherent part of life—neither predetermined nor fully comprehended. These shifts often occur unexpectedly and without warning. Instead of embracing them as opportunities for growth and adaptation, most individuals seek to disengage, resisting change rather than capitalizing on its potential.

What I do know is this: life’s course is distinctly nonlinear. It unfolds through time, interwoven with impediments and opportunities, each carrying profound educational value. Those who assume life’s people, places, institutions, and circumstances are static entities will inevitably find themselves unprepared when faced with disruption.

At the critical juncture where reversal is no longer an option, adaptability becomes the defining factor between stagnation and progress. The ability to proactively adjust, rather than react in desperation, is what ensures seamless transitions—mitigating the inefficiencies, uncertainties, and struggles that arise from resistance to change.

True resilience is not about preventing transformation but about evolving with it. Through personal growth, we refine our methodologies, increase our efficiency, and become more flexible. We develop the capacity to offset counterproductive transformations, ensuring that change—inevitable as it is—does not erode us, but instead propels us toward something greater.
